Don't take this wrong. I love your work! Every week without failure I read your letter and your blog and then go through your cartoons a second time with Dan's blog. Guaranteed chuckles and the often lol. Today I went through your submissions from the last year and enjoyed each one. AND, even though I'd read each one at least twice before - I had zero memory of any of them. All brand new and fresh for me! Has my brain simply run out of RAM and ROM? Is it all just a bag of pot smelling mush? Expiring minds want to know!
Fred: I believe that our twentieth-century brains are constantly presented with so much "content" that much of what we've seen before is simply buried beneath layers of more recent input.
I take it as a compliment that examples of my older work still bring you enjoyment! Let's hope the NCS voters like them as much as you do.
Thank you for being a regular reader. Your eyeballs are much appreciated! Thanks also for taking time to write such a pleasant comment. I hope to keep surprising you for a long time to come.

Make that twenty-FIRST-century brains...
Great choices! Best of luck to you. My favorite is the anteaters, closely followed by the Port O'Potty.
Thanks so much. I appreciate the words of encouragement!
Those are great selections. I'm not at all surprised you won the Reuben. Congratulations!
Thank you kindly!
