I use and like Substack. Go for it! The only thing I don't like about Substack is that it has no built-in spell checker, which for my text-heavy essays is a pain. If I write in Substack, I have to copy the text into Word to spellcheck. Or write in Word and spellcheck, then paste into Substack. A minor complaint. I can spell, but I cain't tipe!
Whatever makes your communications easy is fine with me. I do look forward to reading the newsletter and blog every week! You look super snazzy in the awards event photos, btw.
Love the puzzle. What a great idea for any event: have participants draw on one of the pieces. I like that you date stamp your drawings. Do you carry a date stamp with you everywhere you go, or did someone have a date stamp nearby?? Got any date stamp (product) recommendations? I've noticed some sketchbook artist date stamp each page. Great idea. I shared the Sisyphus comic with an artist friend on Instagram whose account name is @sisyphusjonez
The day after the Reubens, there was a public event at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum, and I knew I’d be there sketching, so I brought my date stamp and pad along with me. They’re just standard office-supply items. I was inspired to do that by Gary Panter, who often date-stamps his drawings. I’m not as diligent as I’d like to be with my own sketchbook doodles, but I do stamp the date on every one of my original cartoon drawings.
I vote for you making it easier on yourself and moving everything to Substack. That will give you more time for your music!

Thank you, Jade! Once a year, cartoonists do their best to glam up!
